This is a great opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Officer who is happy to be very hands-on helping in the Warehouse and dispatch area.
This position requires an enthusiastic, team orientated individual with a strong customer focus who can work independently, as well as collaboratively to maximise workflow and achieve company goals.
In this busy and hands on role your responsibilities will include:
- Process purchase orders
- Receive and dispatch all repairs and returns under warranty
- Assist with pick/packing repairs and stock in the warehouse
- All internal stock transfers and stock adjustments
- Source technical parts and products
- Ensuring data is processed with the highest degree of accuracy
- Reduce costs of parts, products and shipments
- Monthly Forecasting
- Participate in projects as required
To be considered for this role it is essential that the successful candidate has the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar purchasing/warehouse role
- Proficient skills across Microsoft - Word and Excel
- Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Be a proactive team member who shows initiative and is happy to help
- Ability to work with and positively contribute to a busy team
- Experience in a service or repair environment ideal!
