Job Description:

You will be responsible for building and maintaining critical systems and processes within the Tibra Risk function. You will leverage skillsets in software development and data analytics to identify and implement new opportunities for automation and scalability.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need exceptional software development skills and strong business acumen. You will report directly to the Head of Risk as well as collaborate closely with subject matter experts and fellow developers across Tibra’s corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ongoing management and development of our bespoke front office trade reporting systems, including continual development to support new trading strategies

· Design, testing and implementation of integration software and scripts

· Ownership of existing processes based largely on Python and SQL infrastructure as well as domain-specific applications and tools

· Build tools, learn the in-house systems, and evolve the platform solutions together with peers

· Maintaining a deep understanding of the various corporate functions and their needs

· Leveraging relationships and an inquisitive mindset to identify cross-department system integrations

Requirements

Experience & Skills:

· Essential:

o High level of competency in Python and SQL

o Understanding of software engineering practices and Software Development lifecycle

o A genuine desire to seek systems-driven solutions to business challenges

o Ability to communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders of varying levels of technical ability

o Ability to collaborate effectively and proactively across various teams and departments within Tibra.

· Desirable:

o Experience working as a Business Analyst / Business Partner would be beneficial in understanding department needs and identifying problems and solutions

o While the role’s primary focus will be backend development, full stack experience would be beneficial to be able to work on front-end components (react, vue, etc).

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
