About the role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrician ready to step into a key role focusing on Quality Assurance and Electrical Project Engineering. This position is well-suited for those with a solid background in electrical construction work, ideally with prior experience as an Electrical Supervisor. The role involves expanding into quality assurance, Project Engineering and Project management tasks.
The role
- Quality Assurance Oversight: Ensure all electrical installations and projects adhere to the highest standards. Regularly review and assess work packs for completion and compliance with regulations and standards.
- Project Engineering and 3D Model Reviewing: Take an active role in Electrical Project planning and execution, including working/navigating with 3D models for electrical installations. Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Support and Guidance: Serve as a technical reference for electrical questions, aiding the Electrical Supervisors in their responsibilities.
- Computer Literacy and Documentation: Utilize computer skills for project management documentation, reporting and 3D model reviews.
- Ordering and Inventory Management: Assist with the day-to-day ordering of electrical equipment, ensuring timely and efficient procurement and ensuring equipment arrives.
- Hands-On Support: Be prepared to work in various conditions, including heat, to provide on-ground support as needed.
- Reporting and Collaboration: Report directly to the Site Electrical Manager and Electrical Project Engineers. Maintain clear communication about project status, challenges, and quality outcomes.
- Training and Team Development: Contribute to the training and development of team members, imparting knowledge and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety in Electrical Project execution.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Proven experience as an Electrician, with a preference for those who have served as an Electrical Supervisor or Leading Hand.
- Proficient in and have good computer literacy.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes in the electrical field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Capable of multitasking and managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Committed to safety and upholding safety protocols.
- C Class Driver’s License
- Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical License
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
