Position Overview:
FunctionHealth is currently seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. As a QA Engineer at FunctionHealth, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for FunctionHealth's software solutions.
- Ensure test plans align with functional requirements and user expectations.
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of healthcare applications.
- Identify and report defects, providing detailed information to aid in efficient issue resolution.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Perform regression testing to validate the impact of changes on existing functionalities.
- Ensure that new features do not introduce unintended side effects or compromise existing system stability.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and functionality.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of identified issues.
- Document test cases, test results, and other relevant information to maintain comprehensive records.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles, preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Start-up experience, particularly in early-stage technology companies.
- Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with specific machine learning libraries and frameworks relevant to healthcare applications.
