QA/QC Engineer

Phillip Riley has partnered with a WA success story, building renowned automation products used globally. The business is looking to expand it’s production team, recognising the need for further expertise to keep up with the demand for their services.

The company is currently seeking a dedicated QA/QC engineer to play a vital role in ensuring top-notch quality standards within the organization. In this position, your expertise in project management, engineering, and manufacturing will be crucial in overseeing quality assurance and control tasks for local and international inspection activities.
  
The Role: QA/QC Engineer
Location: South Perth
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + Super
  
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participates in production meetings, ensuring adherence to contractual quality requirements, and conducts pre-production/pre-inspection meetings with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Supports production projects to ensure compliance with quality standards, maintaining open communication with clients and internal teams.
• Provides quality services directly to internal and external customers.
• Conducts regular compliance audits of suppliers, following the guidelines of the Quality Management system.
• Investigates and resolves Non-Conformances, implementing preventive processes.
• Develops project Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), reviewing and approving supplier/subcontractor quality deliverables.
• Performs Quality inspections, identifying conformance against internal and client-specified criteria.

  Key Skills:

• Knowledge of incoming inspection for electronic, electromechanical or mechatronic parts
• 3-5+ years of previous experience in a similar role within the Industry, particularly within an ISO9001 quality and/or EN13485 standards environment.
• Internal Auditor Qualification and demonstrated experience.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment, with site-based experience highly regarded.
• Knowledge of relevant local and international QHSE regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

  
Desirable Skills:

• Inspection Qualification
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS)
• Degree qualification in a relevant subject I.e. Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
