Duties:
- Develop and implement quality systems and continuous improvement
- Identify and lead development of new quality assurance processes and systems
- Liaise with procurement and supply chain to drive compliance
- Responsible for executing all applicable food regulations
- Schedule routine testing and ensure testing frequency compliant to schedules
- Ensuring all supplies are reviewed, maintained and approved.
- Conducting supplier audits as scheduled
- Provide technical support to all relevant stakeholders
- Assist in driving continuous improvement in Quality Assurance and control systems and processes
Skills/experience:
- Tertiary education in Food Science, or similar
- Proven experience in management of a Quality team
- Knowledge of food technology systems and food quality
- Technical training and accreditations (HACCP and SQF Quality Management)
- Experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing facility, beverage would be highly regarded
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and positive attitude
