Qa Manager- Food

Duties:

• Develop and implement quality systems and continuous improvement
• Identify and lead development of new quality assurance processes and systems
• Liaise with procurement and supply chain to drive compliance
• Responsible for executing all applicable food regulations
• Schedule routine testing and ensure testing frequency compliant to schedules
• Ensuring all supplies are reviewed, maintained  and approved.
• Conducting supplier audits as scheduled
• Provide technical support to all relevant stakeholders
• Assist in driving continuous improvement in Quality Assurance and control systems and processes

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary education in Food Science, or similar
• Proven experience in management of a Quality team
• Knowledge of food technology systems and food quality
• Technical training and accreditations (HACCP and SQF Quality Management)
• Experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing facility, beverage would be highly regarded
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and positive attitude
