About the role
We are passionate about building software that solves big problems for our customers. The QA Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products for our clients and end-users. Working closely with the QA Lead and the development team, you will use a proactive, analytical approach to contribute to the success of our software.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects for our users, employing your keen attention to detail to conduct thorough testing in an agile team. This position is crucial in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our software solutions.
What you’ll need
Proven experience in manual testing, including proficiency in API testing tools like Postman.
Familiarity with SQL databases and the ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment with frequent releases, adapting seamlessly to changing work assignments.
Experience in testing Mobile apps, such as iOS and/or Android.
Proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps or similar platforms for test management and collaboration.
Strong attention to detail, enabling you to meticulously test the product or system and identify even the most obscure bugs and defects.
Ability to identify gaps in Acceptance Criteria and raise issues for rectification in an Agile Delivery environment.
Knowledge of Agile principles and participation in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Exceptional analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, driven by a passion for delivering exceptional quality.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, coupled with a proactive mindset towards problem-solving.

The successful candidate will be available to work full-time during the working week (Monday - Friday), with the opportunity to work some days from home. Our office is located at the at the Innovation Campus in Wollongong – a hub of new technology.
