Monadelphous is seeking Expressions of Interest to join our Engineering Construction division on exciting resources projects. These $200M+ major multi-disciplinary contracts will include various mixed metals and Oil & Gas and will entail 2:1 and 3:1 rosters during the construction phase.
The role of QA/QC Welding Inspector will see you reporting to the Quality Manager and responsible for the preparation and implementation of the project’s quality management policy, system and strategies within the project; providing technical advice and assistance to the project team as well as liaising with clients in relation to quality requirements.

What you will bring:
Previous experience in a similar QC Inspector position within the resources sector
Welding Supervisors Certificate to AS1796 Cert 10, preferred but not mandatory
Working knowledge of the AS/NZS ISO 9001 quality systems and processes
Welding supervisors or inspection qualification (WTIA, CSWIP or equivalent)
Sound working knowledge of Australian and international standards and codes
Surface treatment/ coating experience with NACE certification, preferred
Well-developed written communication, able to prepare management reports and work instructions
Demonstrated ability in computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel
Welding / Fabrication Trade, NDT background or relevant industry experience
A proven track record in building and maintaining effective relationships with clients
Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
