This position is responsible for developing and implementing the Integrated Management System (IMS), and maintaining documentation to meet rigorous Quality standards. - Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure legal compliance and develop relevant policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing specialized education and training materials.
- Perform duties outlined in Integrated Management System Accountabilities.
- Drive continual improvement strategies.
- Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, and training sessions on quality issues.
- Provide regular reports to the Manager regarding objectives and goals.
- Lead potential failure mode and effect analysis for process improvement.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate systems.
- Coordinate on-site inspections and analyze statistical data for improvement.
- Provide advice and counsel on improvement and quality systems.
- Organize relevant training for company employees.
- Make suggestions for stable, efficient, and environmentally responsible manufacturing processes.
- Recommend tools and systems for optimal company operation.
- Set and achieve realistic goals contributing to optimal company operation.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Manufacturing, Quality, Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of Q.A. Systems - AS/AZS ISO 9001:2015, NATA, PED, and any other associated certifications required to export products.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills.
- Effective coordination, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
- Proficient in clear communication through briefings, reports, and presentations.
- High level of drive, integrity, and energy.
- Flexibility in approach to work and workloads.
- Ability to make sound judgements and decisions.
- Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
- Capability to explain technical requirements in an easy-to-understand manner.
