Founded in 1972, SDI products are now distributed in over 100 countries throughout the world. Our global head office and manufacturing plant is located in Melbourne with overseas branch offices and warehousing in the USA, Brazil and Germany.

• Supports validation activities - testing and inspecting of validation batches as required.
• Supports the validation team with reporting and analysis of validation results
• Supports test methods validation
• Approves incoming materials by confirming required specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurements tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor/lead
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
• Returns products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
• Manages, records and stores test data
• Assists with the populating of Certificate of Analysis
• Assists in the calibration program as required

Job Environment

• The position is located at Bayswater, Melbourne, Victoria
• Working hours: As rostered

Essential Qualification/ Experience

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in the field of Applied Science, Chemistry or Biotechnology desirable
• Experience with working in a lab environment
• Understanding of GMP & GPD guidelines
