Your role
We are currently recruiting a QA/QC Coordinator who will provide a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality at Nexxis by utilising their project management, engineering, and manufacturing skills.
The QA/QC Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained at Nexxis. This position will be responsible for quality assurance and quality control tasks and facilitating all inspection activities, both locally and internationally.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global teams to implement and maintain best practices and migrate towards a group ISO9001 Certification
- Attend all production meetings to address contractual quality requirements, conduct pre-production /pre-inspection meetings with all suppliers and subcontractors to ensure all quality control activities have been understood for each project.
- Support all production projects to maintain quality compliance to client, internal and statutory requirements, continuous communication with the client and internal teams within Nexxis.
- Provide quality services directly to internal & external customers.
- Conduct regular compliance audits of suppliers, in accordance with the Quality Management system.
- Conduct investigations through to completion for all Non-Conformances and implementation of required processes to eliminate further Non-Conformances of same nature to occur.
- Developing project (Inspection Test Plans) ITP’s, review and approve supplier/subcontractor quality deliverables.
- Completion of Quality inspections, identifying conformance against internal and client specified criteria.
- Coordination of the submission of all client’s deliverable documentation.
- Provide document control support and guidance to teams.
- Provide safety leadership for all areas of the business, actively monitoring work practices to identify hazards and advise correct safety procedures.
Skills/Qualifications
- Knowledge on incoming inspection for mechanical and electronic parts. (Advantage)
- Previous experience in a similar role within Oil & Gas Industry for 3-5+ years, specifically working within an ISO9001 quality environment.
- Internal Auditor Qualification and demonstrated experience.
- Inspection Qualification (Desirable)
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) (Desirable)
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment, previous site-based experience will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of relevant local and international QHSE regulations
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High Attention to detail and a commitment to the Nexxis way.
