Our client is seeking a proficient and experienced QHSE Coordinator to oversee their HSE operations and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
Job Description
- Provide QHSE leadership and guidance to employees to achieve objectives and targets.
- Conduct regular QHSE audits and site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Cultivate a positive safety culture and promptly notify management of significant hazards that may impact the business.
- Manage risks and incidents, conducting comprehensive investigations and implementing appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with clients to meet QHSE expectations and develop contract-specific plans.
- Facilitate QHSE meetings, training sessions, and risk management initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in QHSE or related fields.
- Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety, Workplace Training & Assessment, and Environmental Management (or equivalent).
- Lead Auditor certifications for OHS and Environmental Management.
- Minimum 5 years operational experience in the Marine Oil & Gas Industry.
- Profound understanding of Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Management Systems.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
