Our client Trotec Laser Australia / New Zealand is looking for an energetic, self motivated individual to be an integral part of their QLD service team, and be a representative and 'face' of their QLD business to customers. This brand new full-time role will support and assist the significant growth of Trotec Laser across Australia and New Zealand, the world's leading manufacturer of laser marking and engraving machines.
This role will be focussed on installing new machines on-site at customer's premises and fielding and responding to technical support queries, so no two days will ever be the same.
About the role:
- Brand new part-time to full-time role - team is growing.
- Based in Loganholme, but will be required to travel around South East Qld, intrastate and interstate on occasion
- Reports to the Technical Director
- Will be a team member of the local QLD service team, as well as a quality national service team with the opportunity to learn and grow
- Part of the leading multi-national capital equipment manufacturer who has experienced unprecedented growth
What will you be doing?
- Installing new machines on-site at customer's premises
- Providing preventative maintenance services and responding to breakdowns / actioning repairs that need to be completed
- Fielding and prompt answering of customer service tech calls
- Assisting with development of samples for use in sales and demonstration days
- Assist with customer application material testing
- Testing and safety checks of all stock received
- Management of CRM as appropriate
- Participating in logistics meetings as required
- Adhering to all relevant OH&S principles
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in a similar role with similar machinery, however desirable attributes for the role are:
- Certificate IV in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Experience in trouble-shooting and repairing technical equipment
- Driver's licence
- Follow direction and have attention to detail
- Be well presented and have great communication skills (as you will be the face of Trotec out in the field)
- Demonstrate the ability to keep calm under pressure and provide exceptional customer service
- Has the energy, drive and motivation to exceed in a busy and varied role as well as help Trotec Laser continue with its growth
- Wants to be part of an Australian and global team who are looking to continually raise the customer service bar for products and service
- Must be physically strong as lifting and moving of machines will be required
Additional desirable attributes:
- Forklift license
- Networking and computing experience
- Experience with graphic design or drawing packages
