Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of pastry and fillings
- Dough mixing
- Kneading, hand moulding and scaling dough
- Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures determine baking times
- Inspecting quality of products throughout production process.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment and surrounding, apply with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring wastage is minimised and budget of supplies and materials are adhered.
- A work ethic with a focus on continual self-improvement
- Creative drive and a genuine interest in food history and trends
Successful applicants must have the following:
- Relevant qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
- Willingness to constantly learn and be inspired
