About YOUR New Role:
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will work closely with an excellent and supportive CFO. Your key job duties will include:
- Develop and manage AASB 16 lease accounting schedules
- Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare for audit processes
- Reconcile payroll taxes
- Prepare statutory accounts
- Review and prepare trial balances
- Assist with various ad hoc tasks from the CFO
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in AASB 16 lease accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior financial accounting role
- Background in product-based industries such as FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer goods
- Experience with medium to large ERP systems
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and add value
- $60-$65 per hour + super
