We are looking for a qualified, experienced Baker for the production of our famous bread, pies and sweets. You must be able to follow the instructions of the Bakery Manager and be capable of independently carrying out a day’s production in the absence of the Bakery Manager.

You will be responsible for:
- Measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to recipe.
- Rolling and shaping the dough according to the specifications of the recipe.
- Using industrial ovens. Baking and decorating of the final product.
- Cleaning and maintaining the bakehouse as required by cleaning schedules.
- Maintaining equipment and machinery.
- Working on a production sheet.
- Merchandising the cabinets.
- Using the cash register and understanding basic sales procedures.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of baking, including:
- Experience in Sourdough, Bread, and Pastry products.
- Basic bakery theory and technique, including hand shaping.
- Par baking techniques.
- Hand moulding skills would be preferred but not essential.
- Available early mornings and weekends.
