An opportunity exists for a qualified, passionate and highly motivated Sous Chef or similar to join the team at Mansfield Golf Club
Mansfield is a thriving, picturesque community located near Mt Buller and Lake Eildon. It is situated in Victoria's north east, 200km from Melbourne on the Maroondah Hwy. It offers all the facilities needed to comfortably live in a regional town. The town also supports thousands of tourists every year as they embark on snow and water skiing, boating, fishing, hiking, camping, bike and horse riding and 4WD activities to name just a few.

Reporting to the General Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Creative in Menu planning, and calculative in estimating food and labour costs.
- Experienced in Preparing and cooking menu items.
- Must be able to Train and supervise the newly appointed staff or less experienced staff.
- Must be well complaint with hygiene regulations.
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
- Delegation of tasks to other team members.
- Supervise Cooks and assist as needed.
- Monitor food stock and place orders.
Requirements:
Experience and qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert 3 or higher)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the commercial kitchen
- Flexible availability
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirement.
