Our ideal candidate will have:

• Cert 3 or 4 in Disability Services, Individual Support, Home, and Community Care
• Previous employment experience in the health/disability, and community services sector.
• Excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach
• Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to InCare Health Services
• Experience working with children with ASD
• We encourage applications from female candidates who are interested in this position
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required for this position

The role may involve:

• Assistance with community access and recreational activities
• Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)
• Transportation and social engagement
• Behavioural and Mental Health Support
• 5 hour minimum shift

Essential criteria:

• The legal right to work in Australia.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• National Police Check
• Working with children check
• Certificate in First aid & CPR (current)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Two professional references
• ABN Holders Preferred but not Essential
