Seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to support an infrastructure project in Perth, 12-month role Your new company A government department in Perth CBD, are seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to coordinate the department's quality management and assurance program, to align with AS/NZ ISO 9001. You will be required to work full-time hours in the Perth CBD office, with occasional site visit requirements within the metro area. This role is being offered on a 12-month temporary engagement. Your new role As the Quality Advisor, you will be responsible in coordinating and maintaining the department's quality management and assurance program, to align with AS/NZ ISO 9001. Your duties will include:
Maintaining the quality management system
Coordinating the project internal audit program to address quality, risk and rail safety requirements
Undertake audits on suppliers
Coordinate the development and monitoring of the internal audit schedule, including identifying audit scope and criteria
Prepare reports on internal audit findings
Contribute to the implementation of best practice occupational safety and heath, and railway safety processes
Develop and review quality plans and procedures
Provide quality performance reports to the project managers
Participate in risk assessment workshops
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered, you will have:
A Tertiary or equivalent qualification in a relevant field or discipline (desirable)
Previous experience in a Quality Advisor role
Application and understanding of OSH safety principles, and the Rail Safety National Law Act WA 2015 (desirable)
Excellent communication skills, data analysis and reporting skills
Current WA 'C' or 'C-A' class driver's licence or equivalent
The ability to pass a medical examination to verify the physical fitness to perform the duties of this role
Supervised Worker (SW) Track Access Permit (desirable)
