• The Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning (Learning Centre) is a Queensland Health based training provider offering a range of core mental health, alcohol and other drugs education programs for mental health professionals.
• Temporary Full-time opportunity until December 2024
About the role
Work in collaboration with the management team to ensure the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning (Learning Centre) and education partners meet the requirements of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), and the Learning Centre's quality framework.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Sound knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, of relevant legislations to identify factors that may influence the RTO requirements for the unit.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and professional communication skills (verbal and written) to advise the management team and relevant collaborators on the application of appropriate Quality and risk management strategies in a regulated adult education environment.
- Experience in applying quality standards to conduct audits, produce audit reports, and monitor against audit outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction to investigate, gather, compile, collate, and contribute to the development of plans and strategies, including the use of project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated high level ability in developing, implementing and monitoring tactical responses to complex issues.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in the review or oversight of style guide expectations for adult education related documents.
