Our team is a Quality and Improvement strategic partner to each of our five clinical service areas:
- Access, Critical Care, and Investigative Services,
- Home First, Ambulatory, and complex Care Services
- Medical Services
- Mental Health Service
- Surgical Services
Our team of Quality and safety specialists provide advice, coach, teach and support service leadership and frontline staff in the design and delivery of high-quality care that is safe, timely, effective and person centred.
Your new role:
- Partner with senior clinicians and executives to shape, promote and lead a proactive approach to whole system quality.
- Build capability at all levels of an organisation, to create an environment in which innovative ideas can be implemented to address problems in healthcare delivery.
- Partner with service leadership and frontline staff to provide contemporary, innovative, and accurate best practice advice in clinical risk, patient safety and Improvement opportunities
About you:
- Able to demonstrate strong experience and understanding of whole system quality
- Able to effectively manage and provide leadership to a team of employees by modelling behaviours integral to the Melbourne Way
- Comfortable engaging with senior clinicians and executives in quality planning processes, clinical risk, patient safety and Improvement opportunities
- Able to shape, communicate and implement improvement initiatives to deliver organisation-level outcomes
