The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and improvement of the quality and food safety systems within the Pinnacle Drinks - Wine Services & Packaging sites.
Here's a taste of what you can expect in the role:
- Develop, maintain and improve quality policies, procedures and records
- Maintain existing food safety and quality standards (BRCGS, EDG, ACO)
- Work to quality strategies, aligned with greater group strategies
- Manage pre-requisite programs - Approved Supplier, Pest Control, Calibrations
- Oversee and perform validation and verification activities
- Complete general quality checks and inspections.
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Review of non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Assist in the introduction and implementation of new standards where applicable
- Keep up to date with relevant changes in quality and food safety legislation and initiatives including international legislation where applicable
- Assist with compliance to legislation, standards and customer requirements
Now let's talk about you:
- 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of HACCP principles and application
- Ideally, tertiary qualifications in Food Science/Chemistry or related field
- Ideally, formal training and experience in Auditing processes
- Ideally, relevant wine industry or packaging experience
