Your New Role
Reporting to the Senior QA Officer, the QA Coordinator will work across all areas of this rapidly growing manufacturing business. Your previous quality experience will enable you to maintain effective quality and integrated management systems throughout the business.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Promoting best practice in Quality Management throughout the business
- Updating, implementing, and achieving agreed Quality strategy, policies, plans, actions, and measures.
- Reducing the cost of quality failure by ensuring "right first time every time” and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and projects
- Assisting with scheduled audits and report against standards and statutory obligations
- Ensuring we maintain FSSC 22000 and HACCP standards’ certification and adhere to our safety responsibilities
- Assisting with approved supplier program requirements
- Partnering and mentoring our teams to improve Quality outcomes
- Assist with training of QA Procedures and Work Instructions
- Maintaining the operational control documents and GMP requirements
- Maintaining the customer compliance requirements
- Assisting in the delivery of improvement programs & communications
- Assisting in collecting, analysing, managing, and reporting on quality data in an engaging style
About you
You will be a solution focussed, forward thinking Quality professional who has the determination to drive change and continuous improvement.
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a manufacturing, science-based degree or quality and /or equivalent work experience
- Audit experience to ensure we maintain FSSC 22000 and HACCP standards
- Engaging communication skills both oral and written with the ability to influence change
- Strong observation skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- The ability to influence and partner with the business to achieve needed outcomes
- Positive attitude and a “can do” attitude
- Strong work ethic with creativity
- Ability to work in a small team
- Personable disposition and the ability to relate to a diverse range of people
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
