AddressJob Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Can be located Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne + WFH
Contract Length: Initial 6 Month Contract ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Framework Creation: Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint/iteration planning, and retrospectives to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to define and establish test plans, strategies, and objectives for automation.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure ongoing quality checks and balances.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using JIRA.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the scrum team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software Quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
- Proven experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
- Good understanding of SQL, Postman, GIT, GitHub.
- Desired understanding of Azure Portal, GraphDB.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Node.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
