SalarySenior Quality Assurance EngineerPlease note: ONLY Brisbane based candidates who possess Australian citizenship or PR will be considered.Our client is looking for a Senior Software Tester to be in charge of testing business and functional designs, analyzing Capital Markets platform capabilities, and overseeing end-to-end testing, including supporting client UAT. This role requires both independent work and collaboration within client-aligned development teams, analyzing requirements, and translating them into test artifacts and documentation.Role Responsibilities:
- Test Analysis:
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of platform functionality and business processes.
- Educate and prepare internal and external customers on core CM platform functionality.
- Collaborate with Solution Consultants to understand and design solutions meeting business and technical requirements.
- Produce test coverage and design artifacts as per CM SDLC.
- Ensure testing adheres to procedural and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Test Design & Preparation:
- Define acceptance criteria for each story covering both positive and negative testing scenarios.
- Write artifacts supporting testing activities such as Test Designs, Test Cases, and Test Scripts.
- Test Execution:
- Perform structured and ad-hoc system, integration, and regression testing.
- Conduct walkthroughs of delivered functionality with clients.
- Author reusable tests and conduct end-to-end system testing.
- Collaboration / Communication:
- Provide regular updates to SCRUM teams and Delivery Manager on progress and key risks.
- Collaborate with other test analysts to share knowledge and best practices.
- Technology:
- Keep up to date with relevant technologies, tools, and methods.
- Experience in an analysis or testing environment.
- Experience with BDD Test Automation - Selenium, Cucumber preferred.
- Financial Services experience highly regarded, especially Capital Markets.
- Agile, SCRUM experience.
- SQL knowledge desirable.
