Quality Assurance Manager

We are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager in the Food Manufacturing Industry

TEN Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf our client in the Food Manufacturing industry.
They are looking to hire Quality Assurance Manager on a permanent basis.
We seek a driven and experienced individual to spearhead the Quality Assurance and Food Technology role, working with a close-knit team you will use your own initiative and resilience to lead a team of 6 to 8 people.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance with quality, food safety regulations, and customer requirements
• Support departments in achieving quality and food safety compliance
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations
• Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Manage sanitation, allergen, and environmental testing
• Conduct internal audits and maintain documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Investigate and report on non-conformances
• Perform calibrations and verification checks
• Test and release finished products

Requirements:

• A good knowledge of Australian food legislation, regulations, and standards
• 3 to 5 years experience in the Meat, Chicken or Fish industry is preferred
• Internal auditing qualifications and experience with 3rd party audits
• Proficiency in documentation control and maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in food manufacturing/quality control
• Food Science qualification preferred
• Passion for food quality and safety
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Be a team player
