The Role
 
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in pet food production? Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality initiatives on-site. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management systems to uphold the integrity of their pet food products.
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of quality control, including raw material inspection, production processes, and finished product testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Additionally, you will lead investigations into quality incidents and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and safety. You will conduct regurlar audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standarads and identify areas for improvement.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in food safety and Quality Assurance, preferably within the FMCG industry. If you have a passion for excellence, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.

 
Skills & Experience
 

• Prior experience within the food industry (at least 2 - 3 years) to complement and to offset some of the technical knowledge that is required.
• Strong emotional intelligence, be an innovative thinker that embraces culture and someone that will be able to lead in a hands-on and collaborative style, promoting good behaviours. 
• Someone with HACCP, BRC, SQF and customer standard experience. You will lead the audit program for the site and maintain the certifications for the site and execute the site quality management system.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
• Technical knowledge
