Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to join our client's Melbourne team. The selected candidate will spearhead efforts to maintain impeccable quality and compliance standards throughout all stages of our client's Renewable Energy projects. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the advancement of Renewable Energy technologies while ensuring excellence in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute robust Quality Assurance processes and protocols tailored to Renewable Energy projects, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with project teams to establish clear quality objectives, metrics, and benchmarks, monitoring progress and addressing deviations as needed.
- Conduct routine audits, inspections, and evaluations to verify adherence to quality standards, specifications, and contractual obligations.
- Identify areas for process optimisation and efficiency enhancement, driving the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Offer technical expertise and guidance to project teams on matters related to quality, including material selection, construction methodologies, and testing procedures.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, external collaborators, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate quality performance, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a relevant field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Proven track record (5+ years) in Quality Assurance or quality control roles within the Renewable Energy Sector, with a focus on solar, wind, or hydroelectric projects.
- Deep understanding of quality management principles, standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001), and best practices.
- Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g. SAP) and adeptness in data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail, coupled with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with Renewable Energy technologies, construction processes, and regulatory frameworks in Australia.
