Position Overview:
Reporting to Quality Assurance and Compliance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all Hakka and legislative Food Safety and Quality requirements are continuously met, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all operational departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide input to the Quality Assurance & Compliance Supervisor into the implementation of organisational Quality Assurance and governance initiatives.
- Assist the Quality Assurance & Compliance Supervisor to develop, implement and maintain quality systems, procedures and documentation that meets regulatory and customer requirements.
- Provide input to the Quality Assurance & Compliance Supervisor into implementing the Quality Assurance function within goods inwards and finished manufactured goods outwards.
- In collaboration with Quality Assurance & Compliance Supervisor, develop tools and resources to support operations in undertaking audits and compliance assessments as part of core business activity.
- Assist the Quality Assurance & Compliance Supervisor to ensure the Quality and Production Testing Records are actively recorded, collected and critiqued to provide statistical data.
- Assist the QA & Compliance Supervisor to review production statistics identifying areas requiring corrective action of improvement.
- Assist the QA & Compliance Supervisor to inspect and sample the entire manufacturing process with corrective action and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Assist the QA & Compliance Supervisor to ensure that all quality procedures within the company conform to food safety and quality standards, WHS regulations, financial policies and legislations.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications in related disciplines such as food science and nutrition, food technology, or similar are highly advantageous.
- Detailed understanding of food manufacturing processes and intimate knowledge of food safety standards, including SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
- Highly developed analytical ability and a strong quality systems-based philosophy, coupled with sound technical aptitude and commercial acumen.
- Extensive experience with quality and continuous improvement systems, demonstrated through in-depth expertise..
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred.
