Quality Assurance Officer

Agrana Fruit Australia is the global leader in the fruit preparation industry, providing fruit preparations to the dairy, ice cream, soft drink and bakery industries.  

We are currently looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our food manufacturing business based on the Central Coast of NSW. This position will play an integral part of our Quality Department, focusing on administrative based tasks, including record keeping and documentation maintaining to specific certifications associated with a food manufacture.

The main functions of the position include, however not limited to: -

• Managing and maintain certifications for Halal, Kosher, and Organic raw materials and finished products, including maintaining relevant portals.
• Keeping track of approved supplier certificates.
• Verifying Critical Control Points (CCPs) for every batch produced.
• Developing and updating specifications for raw materials.
• Coordinating quality system documentation and records.
• Complete reports as directed by Quality team managers.

About you: 

• Previous laboratory or quality environment within the food industry is an advantage. 
• Well organised
• Strong attention to detail
• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP system.
• Current drivers' licence and access to a car is essential due to limited public transport.
