Quality Assurance Officer - Electrical Commissioning

About the role:

The Quality Assurance Officer/Electrical is responsible for ensuring that all commissioning activities meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves:

• Developing Quality Assurance plan
• Conducting inspections
• Overseeing testing procedures
• Collaborating with stakeholders to optimize system performance and reliability during the commissioning phase of Zeniths power generation facilities.

About you:

Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years post trade work experience within the power generation industry. (Desirable)
• Proven technical knowledge.
• Previous experience managing QA for projects.

Knowledge/Skills/Ability

• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations (AS3000)
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings
• Understanding of safety regulations and practices related to installations and equipment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with a wide range of clients.
• Strong administration skills, systems orientated.

Qualification

• Valid WA Electrical License

Certificates

• HV Switching
• Cert IV Instrumentation

Licenses

• Valid WA Electrical License
• Valid WA manual vehicle driver's license, minimum ‘C’ class

Clearances

• National Police Certificate
• Medical Clearance
