The role:
We are a dynamic, growing not for profit organisation, with a focus on developing the compliance side of our organisation.
The Quality Assurance Officer will work with management and staff to design internal governance, quality, risk and compliance frameworks and coordinate accreditation requirements for the various programs.
Essential Criteria
- Respectful attitude towards people with a disability
- Ability to liaise and network with all stakeholders including professionals and advocates
- Be motivated, proactive, creative, outcomes focused and have the proven ability to build positive relationships
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the disability sector
- Proactively develop productive working relationships and effectively interact with relevant stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to, assess impacts, risks and benefits
- Fantastic written and verbal communications skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and or experience will be highly regarded
- Must have audit experience and knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards & Legislation
- Demonstrated experience in a range of risk compliance activities including investigations, data integrity checks, systems assessment and monitoring against risk management and business plans
- Demonstrated experience report writing for management and commentary entry for compliance monitoring systems
- Experience using computer and office systems, operations systems and general record keeping
- Demonstrated experience delivering quality and timely customer service
