Quality Control Technician

Redmond Gary is a long established, well-respected and continuously growing manufacturer based at Molendinar on the Gold Coast, whose diverse range of Elevating Work Platforms and Cable Handling Equipment is highly regarded in the Electrical and Mining industries throughout Australia.

This permanent position is available for a Quality Control Technician to become a valued member of our team, where your skills are appreciated and your dedication is rewarded. 

Reporting to the Assembly supervisor, you will be part of our Quality Control team responsible for ensuring that the all Redmond Gary manufactured and remanufactured products are robust and reliable.

On the job training will be provided where necessary. 

Position Requirements

• Be mechanically minded – relevant trade qualification preferred but not essential
• Perform commissioning of Redmond Gary manufactured and remanufactured equipment, including accurately completing all associated documentation
• This is predominantly a hands-on role encompassing operational tests, setting speeds on hydraulics, flow tests, electrical tests, fitting decals, Stability tests, checking specifications, taking photos and fixing minor defects
• Review & continuously improve testing procedures and assist in ongoing development of training materials
• Liaise with production and engineering team members to identify any issues and ensure compliance to our quality systems
• Maintain our manufacturing excellence by actively participating and contributing to continuous improvement across the business.
