SalaryThe Suburban Connect consortium, comprising CPB Contractors, ACCIONA and Ghella, have been selected by the Victorian Government to deliver the first major tunnelling package on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project.
The package includes construction of a 16-kilometre section of the project's twin tunnels, including tunnelling between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, 55 safety cross passages between the tunnels, station boxes at Clayton and Monash and the construction of portals - the entrances and exits to the tunnels - at the stabling facility.
About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Quality Coordinator supporting project personnel in the implementation of project quality requirements to ensure that specified project quality outcomes can be achieved, and appropriate project delivery records are maintained to ensure smooth transition from concept to construction completion.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Working with the construction team to ensure relevant project delivery records are captured in the project electronic document management system
- Implementing monitoring and improve the construction quality and verification processes in accordance with the deed and the Quality Plan
- The monitor and review of subcontractors' quality deliverables and ensure they fulfil their quality obligations
- Monitoring the establishment of construction lots and coordinate inspection of works and products with the construction team
- Attend Hold and Witness point inspections and authorise release (where nominated authority)
- Undergraduate degree or other suitable study (e.g., Advanced Diploma) in a discipline that develops critical thinking skills such as Engineering or Science
- Experience as an Auditor of Quality Management Systems
- Minimum two (2) years of construction experience including relevant construction quality management experience
- Awareness of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems
- Well-developed writing, communication, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
