To continue our journey of excellence, we are seeking a Quality Leader who shares our passion for quality of product.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the implementation of quality control procedures to meet BRC accreditation and Food Safety standards.
- Monitor and improve the quality of products through rigorous testing and analysis.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and quality issues promptly.
- Assist the site to ensure compliance with overarching company policies, WH&S regulations, Quality and Food Safety standards such as BRC, and customer requirements.
- Assist the site leadership team with the planning, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and continual improvement requirements and initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness in preventing recurrence.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances to determine root causes and contributing factors and identify immediate corrective actions and long-term preventive measures.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager and SMYA WHS Manager to ensure WH&S compliance and reporting.
Your experience will include:
- Proven experience in safety and Quality Leadership role – beverage or food industry experience highly desired
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards and regulations
- Experience in the implementation and continual improvement compliance and standards
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication, teamwork and leadership skills
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety highly regarded.
