RiverCity Private Hospital is a beautifully appointed specialist day hospital co-located with two consulting clinics just 5km from Brisbane’s CBD. Equipped with state-of-the-art surgical facilities, including 3 stand-alone theatres RiverCity is an accredited, contemporary, purpose-built facility.
We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our Rivercity team on a part time basis (16 hours per week).
About the role:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Reporting on the performance and quality management systems and advising on improvements required
- Promoting awareness of patient requirements
- Striving for continuous improvement of processes through standardisation, training and monitoring.
- Management of operational risk through development of internal processes and systems.
About you:
- Previous experience managing & maintaining a QMS (Quality Management System) for a clinic/practice, compliant with the accreditation standards as well as statutory and regulatory requirements, consistent with compliance/policy.
- Ability to coordinate system review and internal quality auditing processes.
- Identify relevant quality related training needs and implement required training.
- Participate in and contribute to work health and safety activities to ensure a safe work environment for clients, community, staff and visitors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, managing and resolving patient complaints in a timely, confidential and respectful manner.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of NSQHS and ISO 9001:2015
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support preferably within the medical industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and/or working knowledge of health insurance schemes
- Previous Registered Nurse background and ability to apply national standards in our clinical setting.
- Strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and problem solve
