The role:
We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our dynamic Snowy 2.0 team and lead quality management for 2.0 Project, based in Cooma NSW. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the quality of all project activities both onsite and offsite to ensure that the works are designed and delivered in accordance with Snowy Hydro's requirements.
Reporting into the Director of Engineering, this role will manage a team of Project Engineers and Quality Coordinators, working closer with our contractors on the manufacturing and construction works.
We are looking for:
Minimum of 10 years experience within quality assurance engineering and management on large scale, complex and infrastructure projects.
Relevant tertiary qualifications within engineering, construction or manufacturing fields is preferred.
Experience in hydropower, energy or underground works construction would be highly regarded.
A qualified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor with a good understanding of ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements is desirable.
Demonstrated quality management and engineering skills with the ability to execute tasks from inception to completion.
Highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiating skills
Solid understanding of construction and manufacturing processes, methods and specifications.
Sound people management experience including setting and monitoring teams KPI's that are aligned with Business Strategy.
