AddressA joint venture between John Holland and Gamuda Australia has been selected by Transport for NSW to deliver the M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace Southern Package - a key missing link in one of the country's busiest transport corridors.
The $1.029 billion southern package will deliver a 10-kilometre dual carriageway motorway extension between Black Hill and Tomago. There will be 8 bridges that include a 2.6km viaduct and new congestion-busting interchanges at Black Hill, Tarro and Tomago.
About the role:An opportunity exists for an experienced Quality Manager to join our M1 Black Hill to Tomago Team. Reporting into the Project Director, you'll be accountable to develop, recommend and implement a quality assurance programme to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements on the project.
Responsibilities of the role include:- Implement and manage the Quality Management System to meet quality objectives and targets
- Ensure project compliance with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory requirements
- Identify, manage, and monitor quality objectives, risks, and issues that may impact project delivery
- Provide guidance and support to project leadership team for quality culture and business improvement
- Maintain robust risk management processes and discipline for quality
- Offer technical quality expertise for the project
- Ensure workplace understands and meets regulatory and legal obligations related to quality
- Handle client expectations and communicate effectively with project team
- Select and develop staff to enhance quality assurance competences
- Provide leadership and mentoring to quality staff
- Understand compliance and reporting procedures and communicate requirements
- Perform duties aligned with company policies, processes, systems, and procedures
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a quality management role
- Quality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industries
- Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
- Strong communication skills, and strong team leadership ability
