About the Role
A full time (76 hours per fortnight), fixed term position (6 month contract) is available for an enthusiastic and passionate Quality Officer for Presbyterian Aged Care. The role will administer and support the development and implementation of PAC’s Quality, Safety & Service Excellence Framework. You will work with the Quality Coordinator to ensure PAC meets its internal and external requirements through quality program, initiatives, audits and other program administration support work as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the services to ensure they meet PAC and ACQSC standards in a collaborative manner
- Participate in a schedule of audits across the fservices to review and support quality outcomes regularly
- Review and audit to ensure customer satisfaction
- Benchmark PAC within the industry and support development of plans to improve identified gap areas.
- Support development of procedures for best care and service delivery
- Data creation and collection to support planning and quality care through development and review of quality plans
- Provide administrative support to ensure all elements of framework are documented and supported.
- Provide training and support to the Service Managers and teams across the PAC
About You
The successful candidate holds Registered Nurse qualifications and experienced in aged care quality development and auditing. You are passionate about quality and maintain a level of knowledge and professional competence in accordance with current developments and standards. You can work at a fast pace and collaborate with various teams and staff to deliver high quality care and services. It is essential that you have skills or experience in Microsoft applications, policy/report writing and auditing. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are a team player who works within the philosophy and values of the Presbyterian Aged Care organisation.
