SEQUAL provides disability support services to people in the community in a range of settings and support types.

The role:
We are currently seeking a Quality Officer for a temporary six month contract, working in a part time capacity across three to four days a week to join our team located in Newmarket. You will be assisting with the ongoing application of SEQUAL’s quality, risk and compliance framework and its smooth running while also ensuring SEQUAL is meeting and maintaining all regulatory obligations and requirements through quality internal audits. The role’s core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the document management system.
- Assisting and coordinating internal audits.
- Assisting in projects related work to continuous improvement.
- Assisting with preparation of relevant reporting when required.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Role requirements:
- Previous experience in a Quality Officer or similar role.
- Understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards.
- Previous experience or knowledge of ISO quality standards.
- Previous experience in Quality Auditing – Desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel in particular.
- Relevant qualifications in Quality, Risk, Compliance and/or Governance Management -desirable.
- Holds or willing to obtain a current paid NDIS worker screening card.
- Holds the rights to work in Australia.
