We are bulk handling specialists focused on manufacturing, mining, agricultural and industrial products including soda ash, limestone, alumina, fertilizer, grain, and cement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables, in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, executives, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and support for project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Communication: Effectively communicate project status, progress, and milestones to stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize project performance and ensure timely delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements, implementing quality control / investigation measures.
- Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, evaluating impacts and communicating effectively with stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and lessons learned, implementing best practices to enhance project management effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in project management preferred.
- Proven experience in project management roles, with a successful track record of managing projects of varying size and complexity.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Microsoft Project).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project goals and delivering value to stakeholders.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
