Reporting to the Operations Manager of Quality & Safeguarding you will be experienced in the quality or auditing space
This is a full-time position and experienced applicants from both Tamworth and Inverell are encouraged to apply.
The Quality and Safeguarding role will see you manage the day-today safeguarding incident and reporting requirements of Brighter Access.
Working in close collaboration with your manager, you will be responsible for
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of quality systems, WHS and compliance
- Assist with improvement planning for systems and processes
- Assist with the review and updating of Policy, Procedures & Forms
- Maintain version control of documents
- Conducting SIL audits and managing compliance
- Support broader governance teams as required
The successful applicant will have:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of policy and procedure relating to the disability sector.
- Experience with auditing and requirements within the disability sector (or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to convey information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Positive and proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and requirements.
- A passion for working in compliance and quality in the disability sector.
- Highly developed computer literacy skills: including excel.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current driver’s license.
- Current NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check Clearance.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
