What You'll Do
- Partner with manufacturing to complete our day-to-day quality processes, driving efficiency and preventing defects.
- Lead investigations into returned materials, identify root causes, and collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure our practices consistently align with ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 standards.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and testing rigs, to help our Engineering team ensure our finished products meet our rigorous quality standards.
- Minimum of 5 years (preferred 10 years+) industrial experience in a role as a Quality Test Engineer, or similar, ideally with a medical device background.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering in a Mechanical or Manufacturing discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment working closely with R&D and manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, software/hardware testing, and defect tracking tools.
- Proven experience using a CAD software tool to design test rigs is highly valued.
- A practical background provides a deeper understanding of product design and potential defects.
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 is highly valued.
