About the Role
Tyro Health is seeking a quality and Test Automation Engineer to help us deliver reliable, high-quality digital health experiences. Quality engineers help us ensure that our products work as designed and that potential issues are identified by developing test plans, Test Automation frameworks and other review criteria. Whilst based in Melbourne, Victoria you will be reporting to the CTO.
What you'll do
- Analyse user stories and external requirements to develop quality assurance strategies and test plans.
- Design, build and help maintain Test Automation suites for our services.
- Assist with emergency bug fix reviews and identification of potentially similar issues across the platform.
- Review test coverage and identify deficiencies in existing test scenarios.
- Ensure testing and quality checks are appropriately applied to integration partners.
- Work with external stakeholders to help certify new functionality in our product.
- Improve test and quality assessment capabilities, tooling and processes.
- Uphold and contribute to Tyro's strong risk culture by complying with our policies, completing mandatory training and identifying and managing risks within your day-to-day work
What you'll bring
- Unquestionable attention to detail
- Apply system-thinking skills to identify how changes might adversely impact the overall platform
- Knowledge of Test Automation in Node.js and React web applications. Native application testing experience a plus
- Know how to apply leading DevOps practices like continuous integration, continuous deployment and automated test frameworks
- Experience developing cloud hosted SaaS applications is highly desired.
- Experience with bug-prevention, testability, accessibility, privacy and other advanced quality concepts highlight desired.
- Thrive in a fast paced, yet autonomous environment.
