Form of workThis group are a leading commercial and apartment builder that specialise in new build apartment and commercial projects up to $20 mil. The majority of their work is negotiated with clients and they have recently won a commercial new build project and need a Quantity Surveyor to join the company.
About the Role
Reporting to a Commercial Manager and Project Manager you will be responsible for
* Prepare scopes of work and award sub-contract packages.
* Assess sub-contractor variations and progress payments.
* Prepare monthly cost reports for the directors of the company.
* Assist the Project Manager prepare client progress payments.
About You
You will ideally have worked in a Contract Administration or Quantity Surveyor role at a commercial or apartment builder. It is preferable you have a qualification in Construction Management, Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying. You must possess strong written and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in a project team
