Job Summary: The front-end loader operator is responsible for operating and maintaining front-end loaders to efficiently and safely move materials within the quarry. This role involves loading trucks, stockpiling materials, and assisting with various quarry operations to ensure smooth and productive workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Front-End Loader:
Safely and efficiently operate front-end loaders to move materials such as rocks, gravel, sand, and other aggregates within the quarry.
Load trucks with extracted materials according to specifications and safety guidelines.
Transport materials to designated areas within the quarry for processing or stockpiling.
Must have Sales loader experience
Material Handling:
Handle materials with precision to minimize spillage and waste.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate effectively with other quarry personnel to ensure safe material handling operations.
Maintenance and Inspection:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on front-end loaders to ensure proper functioning.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and performing tasks within the quarry.
Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety among team members.
Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors.
Teamwork and Communication:
Collaborate with quarry personnel, including supervisors, truck drivers, and other equipment operators, to coordinate operations effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment, preferably in a quarry or construction environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to equipment operation and quarry operations.
Ability to read and understand instructions, safety manuals, and equipment specifications.
Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks in a demanding outdoor environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance tasks.
Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work conditions.
Education and Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
