To help us deliver on these ambitions we are looking for a talented administration professional to join our team in the role of Café Supervisor to join our team at the Queensland Tennis Centre on a full time, permanent basis.
About the role
The café supervisor at Queensland Tennis Centre (QTC) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our members and guests while overseeing and being responsible for the Baseline Café. Responsibilities will be to coordinate day-to-day operations, including managing inventory, ordering, and scheduling stock, and maintaining quality standards in food preparation and service. The café supervisor will also provide exemplary customer service and assist with tennis administration while contributing to the overall success of the Queensland Tennis Centre.
- Undertake all café related tasks as required, including coffee making, food preparation and stock control and service.
- General administration and data entry tasks, as required.
- Provide a friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times, via phone, email and face-to-face.
- Process tennis court bookings, class enrolments and tennis-related enquiries efficiently.
- Monitor team performance during shift and provide guidance and feedback for improvement.
- Ensure all staff are appropriately rostered for shifts and help find replacement staff if needed.
About you
- Strong administration skills and experience
- Previous experience in providing exceptional customer service, preferably in hospitality and/or retail
- Previous experience or willingness to learn operation management.
- Experience in the use of Point of Sale and cash handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of organisational skills with attention to detail
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Blue Card
