As our CEO, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organization and make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including financial management, strategic planning, and staff development.
About Us: We are a growing not for profit organisation, dedicated to improving primary healthcare services in rural areas. With a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence, we strive to deliver high-quality accessible primary healthcare that meets the unique needs of rural communities. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of those living in underserved areas by offering support to general practice, innovative allied health programs, community outreach initiatives and industry advocacy.
Position Summary:
As the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the organisation, influencing and delivering our vision and strategic direction throughout our business operations. You will lead the operations of our business units, develop and maintain the necessary resource planning for future strategic growth, and promote a positive culture within the organization. Your leadership will drive innovation, resource allocation, advocacy, risk management, and communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization ensuring the implementation of our vision and strategic direction.
- Oversee the operations of business units, promoting innovation and optimal resource allocation.
- Advocate for rural health services needs
- Manage resources and funding within allocated budgets, in alignment with our Quality Management System (QMS).
- Build and maintain positive relationships with funders and explore new funding opportunities.
- Shape the organization's culture and success, promoting integration and communication across teams.
- Support the development and growth of team members through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
- Represent CQRH and RHMS professionally to stakeholders and advocate for regional health services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or related sector.
- Strong strategic planning and operational management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change management.
- Knowledge of financial management and budget control.
- Understanding of statutory and regulatory obligations in the healthcare sector.
- Experience in risk management and quality improvement.
- A track record of successful collaboration and team leadership through a time of change.
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or a related field.
