Form of workTasmanian Oyster Co (TOC for short) are seeking Rack Builders to join the crew, based in Cambridge. Our Rack Building team work hard at keeping our on water infrastructure well maintained, clean of debris and continually developing our infrastructure by building new racks. We need employees who have a hands-on approach, and enjoy working outdoors. The ideal candidate will have experience in fencing, handyman or maintenance roles and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
About you:
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Previous experience in fence building or a related field (desirable)
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Strong safety focus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible to undertake general Oyster Farming work when required
About the role:
- Varying hours over the week to work in with the tides and weather - Monday-Friday where possible, weekend or evening work as required
- Part of a small exciting team to take our farm sites to the next stage of development
- Hands on outdoor work in all weather conditions
