Karvel Automotive seeks an RACV Emergency Roadside Assistance Operator to service the Yarrawonga area.
About the role:
The successful applicant will attend emergency Roadside Assistance call-outs within a specified time frame, to assist RACV & NRMA members, and non-members within the Yarrawonga service area.
- Typical callouts include auto troubleshooting and providing basic vehicle mechanical assistance such as changing tyres and batteries, jump-starting and lock-out etc.
- If the issue cannot be resolved, the Roadside Assistance Operator simply arranges a tow.
Hours of work:
- A weekly on-call rotating roster 5 days on, 2 days off (with some weeknights and weekends).
- Flexibility to be based at home.
This is a great opportunity and will suit an individual who lives in the service area with basic mechanical knowledge (minimum) who can deliver excellent customer service, complete paperwork effectively and follow protocols and procedures.
- Immediate start.
- A rate of $31.00 per hour, plus incentives and superannuation.
- Fully equipped 4WD patrol van, fuel card, mobile and tablet are provided, (for work purposes).
- Supportive team environment and ongoing training.
- Must have an Australian driver’s licence with no current restrictions.
